Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Corrections is looking to enter into a (1) year contract with (4) additional on-year option to renew for Installation of a full body scanner, service and maintenance plan. Installation of machine and all necessary equipment installed by trained personnel and in accordance with manufacturer's protocols. Servicer/maintenance plan, provision of training staff, 24 hours/7 days a week service and adherence to State and Department of Health (RIDOC) mandates required. Scanner specifications should include: • External and Internal scanning capabilities • Detection of metallic and nonmetallic threats (including weapons, drugs, cell phone, metals, ceramic etc.) • Full body screens from below feet to above head • Quick scan process (less than 4 seconds) • Quick installation (no more than 2 hours) • Size of equipment less than 8’X 8’ • Scan capacity of up to 180 persons per hour • A thermal camera capable of measuring a persons’ body temperature in an effort to indicate COVID-19 or other infection • Tested against/complies with the ASI/HPS N43.17-2009 guidance
