Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Movable shelving system, track mounted with a movable aisle using mechanical assist. • Carriage system shall include a chain sprocket drive for each movable carriage to ensure it moves smoothly and uniformly along the total length of travel, even with unbalanced loads. • Track rails shall be secured directly on top of the concrete floor and shall be beveled to allow for the easy movement of material handling equipment. • Safety lock to prevent the carriage from moving when lock is engaged. • Design shall allow 25 existing commercial shelving (90”H x 84” W x 24” D) to be used with proposed carriage/track system along with additional new commercial shelving units to complete the proposed design to be included in the bid. The additional new commercial shelving shall be 90”H x 84”W x 24” D with five shelves in each unit.
