Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of this project is to complete the design and implementation of a security camera system which will include coverage of the following locations at the Southern Gateway Parking Structure. 1. Entrances and exits, including vehicular and pedestrian points of access. 2. All stairways on all levels. 3. Vehicular travel lanes. 4. Optional PTZ for observation of Lisbon St. traffic All cameras must be compatible and supported by the latest version of Exacqvision for monitoring and recording. Cameras installed must also include an Exacqvision camera license to be added to the city’s existing Exacqvision system. The vendor is responsible for adding the new cameras to the existing Exacqvision system and will be provided access and addressing as required. Cameras will be of adequate resolution and low light capability to determine and identify key visual attributes of a pedestrian or vehicular subject. Cameras shall be weather and vandal resistant. Typical cable runs shall be cat6 not to exceed a length of 328’. Fiber optic may be used in place of Cat6 in long cable runs. The city will provide a switch with POE for the connection of the new hardware at the termination location (garage electrical/networking room). All cable runs shall be terminated in a Cat6 or Fiber termination block which shall be provided and installed by the contractor in the garage electrical/network room. Wall space will be provided for said terminations. Given some of the distances, a vendor may opt to install an intermediate switch.
