Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Benton County Natural Areas, Parks and Events is seeking proposals from a qualified forestry contractor to complete priority forest stewardship services within the Beazell Memorial Forest East Units. This work is a continuation of the adaptive management and project implementation as described within the current Benton County Forest Resources Stewardship Plan (adopted 2020). Benton County Natural Areas, Parks and Events is requesting proposals from private sector forestry contractors to develop, with pertinent County staff, timber harvest plan/layout AND completion of timber harvest operations within the Resource Management Units (RMUs) of Beazell Memorial Forest as summarized in Table 1 below. See Map 1 for access, haul routes and Timber Harvest/RMU locations. These service summaries were developed during the 2020 Forest Resources Stewardship Plan Update. Completion of all contracted work including completion of hauling as determined/approved by county and contractor. Note: Completion of all harvest and hauling to be evaluated and approved with contractor and County, with County retaining the right of approval for final details of timber harvest and related operations.
