Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide a turnkey contract between the Contractor and Hood River County to control vegetation on 15 cutover forest tracts. Spring applications totaling approximately 375 acres. 1. Consult with Forestry Department about vegetation control prescription. Chemicals used may be changed and rates modified by County to properly suit conditions at time of application. Contractor will be given notice of changes at least 5 days prior to application. Chemical changes resulting in price changes/unit shall be agreed to in writing or email by both County and Contractor. 2. Supply helicopter application crew, properly licensed pilot(s) and sufficient support equipment in conformance with the specifications for aerial applications identified in this proposal. Units or portions of units may be treated by ground crew due to site conditions or logistics, subject to the same pricing estimates and Forest Manager approval. In such cases Contractor will provide crew, equipment and chemical to perform vegetation control treatment. 3. Supply weather information and application data to include: a) Date b) Tract name c) Herbicide and rate applied d) Wind information e) Temperature f) Sky Condition g) GPS flight data compatible with HRC software (ie: ArcView shapefile)
