Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lake County has received funding from the Oregon State Fire Marshall’s office to update our Lake County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). Lake County is seeking proposals from contractors that will update our plan ; 1. Update the Lake County CWPP. 2. Create and utilize a core team consisting of a staff member from Oregon State Fire Marshall’s Community Risk Reduction Unit, local, state and federal fire officials, city officials, county officials and other key groups/agencies identified by the County. This team shall meet a minimum of three times. 3. Obtain public input through at least two public meetings and other ways to solicit public comments. 4. Develop a list of wildfire prevention, mitigation, and/or education related projects that may help reduce the likelihood and/or devastation from future wildfire events throughout Lake County. Projects focused around homes, communities, and critical infrastructure shall be identified.
