Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Consult with Forestry Department about vegetation control prescription. Chemicals used may be changed and rates modified by County to properly suit conditions at time of application. Contractor will be given notice of changes at least 5 days prior to application. Chemical changes resulting in price changes/unit shall be agreed to in writing or email by both County and Contractor. 2. Supply weather information and application data to include: a) Date b) Tract name c) Herbicide and rate applied d) Wind information e) Temperature f) Sky Condition g) GPS flight data compatible with HRC software (ie: ArcView shapefile) 3. Furnish at its sole expense application and mixing equipment, water and all other materials necessary or proper to perform the work in a safe, efficient manner and to furnish at its sole expense all necessary motor vehicles, supplies and all other materials relative to the operation in order that a proper application might be accomplished. 4. Furnish the personnel necessary to operate equipment, such equipment to be of the type approved by all Federal and State agencies governing the work to be performed. Operator(s) shall be of the qualifications and in possession of the licenses required by Federal and State agencies governing the work to be performed. 5. Provide all personnel and equipment necessary to tank mix, agitate, load, supply, and apply all herbicide rates in an efficient manner. To rinse all herbicide containers as prescribed by pesticide label and applicable Local, State, and Federal laws. Upon completion of said container disposal, all herbicide containers and unused chemical will become the responsibility of the contractor.
