Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Create a County wide planning team and identify all pertinent participants from each jurisdiction and other stakeholders relevant toward participation in mitigation planning from each jurisdiction. a. Manage contacts and facilitate meetings with County and stakeholder groups. 2. Update the 2018 Hazard Mitigation plan, perform risk and vulnerability assessments, and develop mitigation strategy for each jurisdiction. a. Research and develop a risk and vulnerability assessment. b. Prioritize mitigation actions and determine a mitigation strategy. 3. Create a draft plan. Coordinate and facilitate not less than two (2) public meetings for open public involvement. Submit revised plan for State and Federal review. a. Develop a maintenance plan. b. Facilitate the approval process at the State and Federal levels. 4. Revise the draft plan based on multiple reviews and submit to local, State and Federal for final approval and adoption. a. Update the 2018 Hazard Mitigation Plan. 5. Final Plan must then be adopted ball all three (3) jurisdictions by resolution. Then the Santa Fe County Board of Commissioners will submit the plan and all jurisdictions resolutions to the New Mexico State Mitigation Officer for final approval to FEMA.
