CMU Substrates: 1. Latex System: a. Block Filler: Block filler, latex, interior/exterior: 1) S-W PrepRite Block Filler, B25W25, at 75-125 sq. �. per gal. (1.84 to 3.07 sq. m per liter). b. Intermediate Coat: Latex, interior, matching topcoat. c. Topcoat: Latex, interior, semi-gloss: 1) S-W ProMar 200 Zero VOC Latex Semi-Gloss, B31-2600 Series, at 4.0 mils (0.102 mm) wet, 1.6 mils (0.041 mm) dry, per coat. B. Metal Substrates (Aluminum, Steel, Galvanized Steel): 1. For foil-faced duct and pipe insulation, use self-etching primer plus two acrylic topcoats. 2. Latex System: a. Prime Coat: Primer, rust-inhibitive, water based: 1) S-W Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Universal Primer, B66-310 Series, at 5.0 to 10 mils (0.127 to 0.254 mm) wet, 2.0 to 4.0 mils (0.051 to 0.102 mm) dry. b. Intermediate Coat: Water-based acrylic, interior, matching topcoat. c. Topcoat: Water-based acrylic, gloss 1) S-W Pro Industrial Acrylic Gloss Coating, B66-660 Series, at 2.5 to 4.0 mils (0.064 to 0.102 mm) dry, per coat. 3.1.1.1 Repair and patch any holes and prior mounting anchors. Including removal and filling of wooden dowels. 3.1.1.2 Prime and paint all hallways, stairwells, both sides of door frames, and Multi-Purpose Room with a primer coat and 2 layers of finish paint for up to 30,000 square feet. Accent color placement is indicated in Exhibit B. Note: Caution must be taken not to paint over existing electric panels, electrical outlets, fire alarm devices and door hardware 3.1.1.3 Provide all supplies, paint, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to complete repairs and painting. Paint products must be approved by WVSDB Facilities before it can be used on campus.
