Clear any obstructions from the condensate drain and check for and fix any cracks or leaks. 2.5. Test heat pump controls to verify proper startup and shutdown, while listening for problematic noise or vibration. 2.6. Check the air filter for dirt and replace if necessary. 2.7. Clean the condenser coils and fan as well as check for stability, amp draw, and vibrations. 2.8. Inspect belts, pulleys, and other components for alignment issues. 2.9. Check blower wheels and motors for restricted airflow and whether the motor is drawing a proper amperage. 2.10. Measure refrigerant levels and recharge the unit if necessary. 2.11.
