Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Board of County Commissioners of Curry County, State of New Mexico (hereinafter referred to as “County”) is requesting competitive sealed proposals from a qualified grant writer or firm (hereinafter referred to as ”Offeror”) to perform grant writing services for local, state and federal grant funding assistance to Curry County and the rural communities of Texico, Grady, and Melrose with a focus on grant projects and applications for needed infrastructure and public spaces as well as other public service projects. A review of all recent grant funded projects, current planning efforts, infrastructure plans and maps for the service areas will be conducted. A review of all public services provided by each community and by the County will be performed. Meetings with key staff at the County and in each community, either virtually or in-person, will assist each community to clearly determine the needs and capacity for grant funding, and lead to the identification of vital projects which will make competitive and attractive proposals to receive funding.
