Brook Street (one building*) All properties located in Louisville, KY 40203. Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government is committed to addressing the crisis with our unhoused population. In 2022 LMG purchased the property at 211 E. College Street, known as “The Chancery”. This is also the site of the Safe Outdoor Space (also known as Hope Village) run by a non-profit service provider. The Chancery will provide 34 units of bridge housing for formerly unhoused citizens, as well as community space, shower, and laundry facilities for current unhoused community members. The purchase of the sites identified above will create a central location for unhoused citizens to stabilize and access services and housing. The anticipated completion date for the Chancery is early 2025.
