Specifications include, but are not limited to: •Perform all surveying work necessary to prepare design plans described above based onthe City of Urbandale’s horizontal and vertical control.•Assist in meeting requirements of REAP Grant, if received. Page2of4•Prepare preliminary construction plans. Coordinate with City Staff to develop proposedtrail alignment prior to submittal. Preliminary plan submittal to include typical sections,plan and profiles, bridge layout, and cross sections. Design to be within existing Parkproperty. No additional property or temporary easements are anticipated. City Staff willreview said preliminary plans prior to the initiation of the final plans.•Provide recommendation on pedestrian bridge type/material based on design factors and cost. Minimal aesthetics are anticipated.•Prepare all applications and assist the City in obtaining all permits (Iowa DOT, DNR,COE and FEMA etc.). Consultant to determine the extent of permitting required. Work is in the floodplain and will require a Joint Permit.•Prepare an engineer’s opinion of estimated construction costs with each submittal.
