Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Albuquerque is seeking proposals from competent service providers to assist the City in grant fund activities. The City plans to award a pool of contractors that will work with City staff to perform grant consulting services for programs yet to be defined, including programs occurring as a result of past or future awards for federally, state or locally funded initiatives. 3.1Research grant prospects and advise the City on which ones to pursue and how. 3.2Compile research data and present to City as requested in the form of a written report with recommendations for grant applications. 3.3Research, develop and prepare grant applications and/or other documents as needed; Work with the City to interpret guidelines, and gather material and information necessary for a strong proposal 3.4For both Contractor identified and City identified opportunities, write and edit grant proposals as requested in time to meet deadlines, and prepare the proposals for submission. 3.5Other related grant writing services as requested. 3.6Review City materials and research/review other background information as necessary in order to create letters and proposals. 3.7Provide training to City staff in a manner so that the staff is able to comply with grant award programmatic and financial compliance reporting; and provide recommendations for the establishment of effective internal controls.
