Road gravel to be 1 inch’s maximum size with at least 15% to be ½ inch or greater in size. Pure sand is not acceptable. C. Crushed limestone can be from local, county quarries, 3 inch maximum size with at least 20% to be 1 inch to 1 ½ inches in size. D. 4” Road Rock, to be 4” maximum size with at least 75% to be 3” to 4” in size. E. Rip Rap (Shot Rock), minimum rock diameter of 8” and a maximum rock diameter of 12”. Provide stone for riprap that is free from earth, soapstone, shale, shale like or other easily disintegrated material that decrease the durability of the material after placement. F. Rip Rap, rock will have a minimum diameter of 12”. This rock may be ordered at any size up to 36” diameter.
