Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, equipment, personal protective equipment, personnel, and supervision to satisfactorily perform helicopter transportation services in the Kauai District, as specified herein, for the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of State Parks. All services rendered shall be in strict compliance with all Federal, State and County regulations governing helicopter transportation services and operation. The following are the principal items of work to be performed: Helicopter services shall be provided for an eighteen-month period beginning August 1, 2023 or the official commencement date on the Notice to Proceed, whichever is later. The service will be ordered on a “call as needed” basis. In general, the service will be of the following types: Passenger and sling loads Reconnaissance Flight hours: estimated for the 18 –month period(s) to be used as follows: (1) Passenger and sling-load service as described herein, estimated 80 hours; Reconnaissance service as described herein, estimated 10 hours; Days and time of operation. Usually daylight hours, Monday through Friday, but may at times be seven days a week, 24 hours a day availability.
