Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide classroom-based programming (in-person classes) and other resources in five (5) therapeutic housing units. DCDC and CC is seeking services for all five (5) of the housing units. DCDC and CC will consider multiple contractors if one contractor cannot provide services in all five housing units. The Douglas County Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Douglas County Department of Corrections (DCDC) is interested in receiving proposals from qualified vendors for the following classes: Trauma for Men Financial Literacy Yoga (will consider virtual classes) Job Readiness Cognitive Behavioral class Group Art Therapy/Class A general description of each class is below. Trauma Class for Men: This class will be in-person and focus on helping men identify and cope with trauma. DCDC is looking for contractor(s) who can provide this class to 4 groups of men each week. Number of classes each will be based on classroom availability. Financial Literacy: This class will be in-person and focus on the basic principles of financial literacy. The curriculum should include how to establish and/or fix credit. DCDC is looking for contractor(s) who can provide this class to 5 groups each week. Number of classes each will be based on classroom availability. Yoga: This class will provide basic yoga and meditation instruction. Providing this class in a virtual environment is an option. Job Readiness: This class will be in-person and assist individuals with job seeking strategies, interview skills, communication skills, addressing criminal background with prospective employers, negotiating wages, creating a resume, and job retention. DCDC is looking for contractor(s) who can provide this class to 5 groups each week. Number of classes each will be based on classroom availability. Cognitive Behavioral psychoeducational class: This class will be in-person and help individuals identify the thinking patterns that influence the behaviors that have caused problems in their lives. The class will educate participants on the skills and tools that can help reframe negative thought patterns and modify behaviors. DCDC is looking for contractor(s) who can provide this class to 5 groups each week. Number of classes each will be based on classroom availability. Group Art Therapy/Class: This will be an in-person class that helps individuals address their emotional issues through art. DCDC is looking for contractor(s) who can provide this class to 4 groups each week. Number of classes each will be based on classroom availability.
