Contract Specific Respondents are hereby notified that all work performed on a task order issued under this Contract shall be done in conformance with the following: a. The latest edition of the Rhode Island Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, including all subsequent revisions and supplements, at the date of task order assignment b. Compilation of Approved Specifications and all revisions, at the date of task order assignment c. Required Contract Provisions – Federal Aid Construction Contracts d. Rhode Island Standard Details, latest Edition, with all subsequent revisions e. Rhode Island Bridge Design Standard Details, latest Edition, with all subsequent revisions f. General Provisions - Contract Specific g. Specifications – Job Specific h. Contract Drawings and/or Sketches i. Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways (MUTCD) j. Federal Wage Rates k. The Division of Purchases Procurement Regulations 2. Construction Specific Work that may be performed on a task order issued under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: a. Structural steel beam end, web, flange, diaphragm and connection repairs and replacement, including associated surface preparation, containment and painting b. Temporary shoring c. Bearing repairs, including cleaning of the bearings and beam seats d. Repairs as a result of impact damage, such as heat straightening, steel plating, weld and crack repairs. e. Joint repairs, as related to beam end deterioration, including any necessary pavement or striping f. Concrete repairs, as related to beam end deterioration g. Repairs to damaged bridge railing h. Site preparation for construction access i. Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Control j. Legal disposal of all debris and excess materials k. All labor, materials, equipment and all incidentals required to complete the work, complete and in place and accepted by the Engineer.
