Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Providing all RO pilot testing equipment and services required to execute the requirements set forth in the Protocol, for an estimated duration of approximately 90 days. • All RO pilot testing equipment will be attached/mounted to a single metallic frame with corrosion-resistant coating, inside the SWTP building. This includes but is not limited to the following: o Feed pump o 1 st stage booster pump o Interstage booster pump o Cartridge or pre-filter o Instrumentation (flow, pressure, pH, ORP, conductivity, temperature, pressure switches, power use) o Sample panel (wet panel) o Control panel o Touch panel for human machine interface (HMI) o Data logging capabilities o Alarms with shutdown for conditions that cause damage to the equipment. o Piping and valves o Power distribution so there is a single power connection to the skid. o Electric motors and motor starters or VFDs o Array of membrane vessels with membrane elements *Note: DMWW will not pilot Dow Filmtec XLE440 membrane elements since these are already in use at SWTP. Each Proposer shall be prepared to suggest up to 3 other membrane element products that would be appropriate for this application. o Chemical delivery systems for skid pretreatment and scale inhibitor. o The CIP elements can be mounted separately from the main skid. o Chemical storage tanks can be mounted separately from the main skid. • Onsite Startup Services o Providing guidance to DMWW during placement of the skid in the SWTP facility and with connections to feed water, power service, and residuals drains. o Training for DMWW operators and HDR personnel on skid operation and maintenance. o Review of data collection and logging. o Review sample collection from the skid. o Demonstrate the silt density index (SDI) test procedure. • During the pilot study, remote customer service by phone or conference call. • Equipment maintenance support as described in the Protocol. • Review weekly data sheets and analysis and provide comments to DMWW and HDR. • Decommisioning o Provide detailed instructions for decommissioning and preparation for return shipment of pilot equipment. o Coordinate return shipment of the pilot equipment and receive the equipment upon its return. • Prepare draft pilot study report for review by DMWW and HDR and then finalize report based on comments provided by DMWW and HDR. • See attached Pilot Study Protocol for additional requirements.
