Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Conduct prompt, thorough, and impartial internal investigations in response to workplace concerns such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and bullying. • Consult with HR Program Coordinator to manage investigations from start to finish, including intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, debrief meetings with Human Resources and County Counsel representatives, and written report development. • Use appropriate and acceptable investigative practices to complete a timely and thorough investigation. • Collect, review, interpret, analyze, and evaluate statements, documents, and physical evidence collected during the investigation. Prepare official investigative written report and discuss findings with Human Resources and County Counsel staff. • Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, payroll, accounting, and finance records and reports along with any other records, reports and/or information deemed to be sensitive in nature.
