Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Currently, the OHA-PHD-CPHP EMS & Trauma Systems Program uses the Tailored Solutions ForseCom Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) system for criminal background checks of EMS providers desiring licensure or license renewal in the State of Oregon. The ImageTrend License Management System (LMS) provides a streamline electronic application process for EMS personnel in the State of Oregon to apply for, or renew, their State license. ImageTrend does not provide Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) information, and ImageTrend does not wish to engage this information as part of their current business model. The current vendor, Tailored Solutions dba ForseCom, is no longer providing the API Interface with OSP-LEDS. Other than Tailored Solutions, KRP Data Systems is the only other known entity that can offer an API interface with OSP-LEDS. The EMS and Trauma Systems program needs to be able to continue the API Interface with OSP-LEDS. To go back to the original process, would require the EMS & Trauma Systems Program personnel to manually process up to 10,000 or more license criminal background checks each licensing or renewal period. Based on conversations with KRP Data Systems, KRP Data Systems is willing and able to synchronize the background information for license applications with the License Management System from ImageTrend that will automate many license applications. CJIS information will be retained with KRP Data Systems. ImageTrend has made the necessary changes needed to make the system more automated.
