Although the cost has historically been about $15,000 to $17,000, the cost for proficiency tests in 2023, was about $20,000 ($19,963). It is estimated that the annual cost for proficiencies would be about $20,000 to $22,000 per year. CTS proficiency test orders and payments are due November 1 for the upcoming year. This blanket contract includes the purchase of CTS proficiency tests for all UBFS disciplines and any future CTS offerings that the laboratory may need.
