Specifications include, but are not limited to: UNH will be replacing the existing HVAC systems that serve the Paul Creative Arts Center Art Museum and Art Museum Art Storage areas. Construction will be phased. The existing museum gallery space will function as temporary climatized storage space for the Art Collection Storage inventory while construction, including abatement of the 9x9 floor tile, occurs in the Art Collection Storage room. The art collection will be moved back into the art collection storage room after the new HVAC system has been installed, and the space meets the designed climate requirements. The two-level museum art gallery will be emptied for construction. The existing lower level gallery storefront window system and door will be removed and replaced with an insulated panel system per the architectural construction drawings. Building envelope upgrades will be required per the Designer’s forthcoming recommendations. The Art Collection Room has existing 9x9 tiles which will require asbestos abatement before demolition can occur in the space. A new VCT floor and vinyl cove base will be installed in the art collection room before the art collection is moved back into the space. Coordinate phasing options, movers, and move requirements with UNH Owner’s project manager, the Museum Director and the Museum Collection Manager. Coordinate with Owner’s 3rd party Commissioning Agent.
