Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent and purpose of the BHWi and its Clinical Supervision Expansion Program is to help establish an equitable behavioral health system and break down the systemic barriers that reduce access and exacerbate inequities in Oregon’s communities who are underserved. The Clinical Supervision Expansion Program will provide grants to organizations that employ or contract with licensed psychologists, licensed marriage and family therapists, licensed professional counselors, and licensed clinical social workers to provide supervised clinical experience to associates working toward the following credentials: (a) Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor; (b) Certified Gambling Addiction Counselor; (c) Licensed Art Therapist; (d) Licensed Clinical Social Worker; (e) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; (f) Licensed Professional Counselor; (g) Licensed Psychologist (h) Qualified Mental Health Associate; (i) Qualified Mental Health Professional; and (j) Other credential types that are not listed, but also provide direct behavioral health care services using their credentials and require clinical supervision to obtain credentials.
