Specifications include, but are not limited to: Rehabilitation work of Bridge 067001 includes deck replacement, approach slab replacement, construction of new safety barrier, steel beam repairs, and repainting of the steel superstructure. The rehabilitation work also includes refacing the existing abutments, wingwall repairs and backwall reconstruction. The existing watermain attached to the bridge will be relocated as part of the rehabilitation work. The Replacement of Bridge No. 067101 will include the full removal and disposal of the existing bridge. Bridge 067101 will be replaced with a steel girder superstructure with a concrete deck supported by a concrete substructure on piles. The majority of work will be performed during a full closure of Route 102 at the bridge sites. Work under this contract will also include, but is not limited to, highway and traffic work incidental to bridge construction.
