Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lincoln Electric System is issuing this Request for Proposal for selecting a residential internet-connected thermostat demand response cloud-based solution provider to support the utility’s Peak Rewards program. Program Design and Marketing Consultation ; Service Provider (SP) will provide consulting assistance in developing a highly customer-centric program design and customer experience. SP will assist LES to develop and implement marketing strategies that will retain existing and attract new qualifying customers for the utility’s demand response program. SP will provide guidance in establishing reasonable enrollment targets, market potential and other benchmarks. SP will demonstrate through existing or planned solutions how its platform is able to provide similar DR capabilities for electric load including, but not limited to, electric vehicle charging and hot water heating. Online Enrollment Portal SP will provide a cloud-based system capable of enrolling a variety of internet-enabled thermostats including, but not limited to, Google Nest, Honeywell, Ecobee, Amazon, Vivint, Lux, Radio Thermostat, Sensi and Lux. SP will detail the internet-enabled thermostats, both product provider and model compatible with its cloud-based system. SP will provide a secure, user-friendly, on-line enrollment interface for device registration accessible through common browser applications including but not limited to Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Online enrollment system will be capable of validating customer and device eligibility for program enrollment based on one or more LES-defined criteria (ie valid LES account number). Online system will provide customizable email confirmation to each enrollee and LES staff upon successful enrollment. SP will indicate how enrollment portal can be used for customers living in multifamily housing.
