Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1. This will be a five-year contract with no renewals. Contract will be from date of award through September 30, 2028. 4.2. Materials to be of top grade, water and sun proof, treated vinyl material designed specifically for outside use, then clear coated, not laminated. A previous year’s sample can be sent to any bidder upon request. 4.2.1. Color of decal will be provided by KDWP Licensing Section after Award of the order, decals will have white border and letters. The color portion to have UV ray inhibitors. Starting with 2027 the colors will be: 2027 Pantone 356 (Green) 2028 Pantone 186 (Red) 2029 Pantone 286 (Blur) 2030 Pantone 165 (Orange) Color rotation starts over. 4.4. Decals will be 3” high X 3” wide and will be in the shape of the State of Kansas. (A sketch of the front and back is attached.) They will have a split peel-off backer and permanent adhesive designed to adhere to fiberglass, metal and wood surfaces without being affected by weather conditions or continuous exposure to water spray. Bidder must guarantee free replacement of any decals that fade out, crack or peel off for up to a four (4) year period following order delivery. 4.5. The front of the decal will be imprinted before final clear coat with the Department logo and expiration year as per sketch. The back of the decal (peel-off portion) will be imprinted with instructions.
