Specifications include, but are not limited to: asbestos abatement and hazardous materials disposal for the 6,600 sqf garage building set to be demolished at the Saco Water Resource Recovery Facility in Saco, Maine. Please refer to the Asbestos Abatement Schedule and Hazardous Materials Table located in the Tighe and Bond project specifications, as well as the Tighe and Bond GMP-1 Process Building Site Preparation drawings (Exhibit 4 to this RFP). Tasks are to include, and are not limited to the following: S-003.01: Mobilization • Mobilize all necessary equipment, materials, and tools to the jobsite. • Provide all submittals required by the contract documents prior to commencing work on site. S-003.02: Asbestos Abatement • Contractor to safely remove and dispose of all asbestos containing materials in the Front Street Garage per the project specifications. • Refer to the Asbestos Abatement Schedule and Specification Section 13281 – Asbestos Abatement. S-003.03: Hazardous Materials Removal • Contractor to safely remove and lawfully dispose or recycle of hazardous materials or universal waste materials per the project specification. • Refer to the Hazardous Materials / Universal Waste Inventory Table and Specification Section 13282 – Hazardous Materials / Universal Waste Management. S-003.04: Performance and Payment Bonds • Provide bonds at least equal to the total bid price per the subcontract agreement documents. General Notes/Clarifications: • This project is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of Maine on all materials to be incorporated into the work. • Include all bonds and insurance as required by subcontract agreement.
