Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project requires the preparation and delivery of qualified professional training courses in the areas of emergency management, health security, disaster preparedness and response, health equity, and all-hazards planning. Specifically, courses in ICS and other related frameworks required for the management of public health emergencies with a focus on health equity will be requested. OHA is especially interested in contracting with qualified instructors experienced in the areas of emergency management, health equity, public health, hospitals, healthcare facilities and health clinics, and health care systems. A “qualified instructor” is one who possesses relevant expertise (through response experience and education) in the subject matter being taught, an expert understanding of the training curriculum, and experience delivering the material in an educational setting. Because Oregon Health Authority is an agency with a focus in public health, proposers with experience in public health emergencies are encouraged to apply.
