Specifications include, but are not limited to: MWH Constructors is the Construction Manager at Risk for the SACO WATER RESOURCE RECOVERY FACILITY UPGRADES (Project). The Project consists of a new treatment building with aerobic granular sludge treatment processes, secondary filtration, and UV disinfection with upgraded grit removal and solids handling, as well as the conversion of existing clarifiers for additional storm water storage, and site grading alterations to mitigate tidal flooding from the adjacent Saco River. The project will be constructed in a phased approach to complete and commission the new treatment processes before making modifications to the existing infrastructure with minimal downtime to the facility. The scope of work for this proposal consists of the furnishing, installation, and removal of sheet pile structures for support of excavation of the process building (Area 30) and the headworks (Area 10) as well the furnishing and installation of driven piles for both buildings to achieve the design capacity set forth in the construction documents.
