Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Leominster, Massachusetts is accepting proposals for Lease or Purchase of one parcel of land located in a commercial / industrial zoned area. The Proposer shall provide a detailed description of the use(s) to which the Proposer intends to put the Property, including, but not limited to, a discussion of the following: A. Whether the proposed use is available as a community resource or is otherwise available for use in some manner by City residents. B. The Proposer’s plan to increase community awareness of the proposed use as a community resource or as being available for use in some manner by City residents. C. Whether the proposed use is compatible with existing surrounding uses. D. Description of the proposed facilities to be constructed on the Property; (i.e., size, layout, architectural design, placement location on the Property, etc.) E. What the primary use of the facilities will be. F. The operating hours of the facilities. The City of Leominster seeks to encourage development of the offered site in a manner that is both consistent with local zoning and which, in the City’s sole discretion, best satisfies the City’s goals of improving the number and quantity of employment opportunities in the City, and improving municipal infrastructure including but not limited to, sewer, water, and traffic systems.
