Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work is intended to describe specific expectations and services that the successful offeror(s) will be responsible for completing once awarded. RMS is required for all newly arrived refugees. The medical screening must be initiated within 30 days and be completed no more than 90 days after the refugee’s arrival to the United States. The purpose of RMS is to: Follow-up on medical issues identified in the overseas medical screening. Identify persons with communicable diseases of potential public health significance. Enable refugees to successfully resettle by identifying health conditions that threaten their well-being. Establish primary care providers or specialists for ongoing health care. Due to the nature of RMS, strong partnership and close collaboration with the local resettlement agency (RA) and RSS provider is required.
