Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Design and documentation for Capital Replacement Program (CRP) type projects including site and facility surveys, geotechnical explorations and soils reports, facility condition evaluation, pavement replacements, site and civil improvements, pedestrian bridge design, roadway design, drainage improvements, construction testing and inspection services, construction observation, etc. 2. Project management and related services including owner’s representative services 3. Budget and schedule development 4. Project phasing and coordination 5. Project delivery methodology analysis and recommendation. JCPRD typically uses traditional design-bid-build delivery method. At times JCPRD utilizes in-house staff and various term and supply oncall contracts to complete construction projects. Additionally, JCPRD may also use design-build (in several forms) and construction management at risk delivery methods. The contracting firm(s) may be asked to undertake work under any or all of these construction procurement methodologies. 6. Preparation of CAD drawings and data compatible with JCPRD and/or County standards. Qualified firms must have the applicable resources to support the work. Qualified firms will be required to meet specified times and schedules and must supply appropriate man-hours and resources to meet schedules.
