Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of La Porte Comprehensive Plan and Transportation Plan. TheTransportation Plan component needs to provide a throughfare plan and an overall plan for theCity’s transportation network, including alternative routes for truck traffic, possible transit enhancements, and needed missing linkages in the transportation and roadway network. In addition, the plan needs to include a public input process and chapters including but not limited to: policy and goal statements, community profile and character, future land use and growth management plan, economic development, housing, natural resources/environment/resiliency, community facilities, recreation/parks, infrastructure and utilities, sub area plan(s). Other chapters or focus areas may include community identity and appearance, health and wellness, arts and culture, and education.
