Specifications include, but are not limited to: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County, Nevada (RTC) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to Update the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The RTP update will refine the vision and approach of the existing Plan, while incorporating new data from a concurrent regional household travel survey effort and updated travel demand model, Regional Freight Plan, Active Transportation Plan (ATP), RTC Street & Highway Policies, and Transit Optimization Plan Strategies (TOPS). The RTP will also include an update to the RTC’s Coordinated Human Services Public Transportation Plan (CTP) in order to identify unmet transportation needs specific to seniors and individuals with disabilities. This component of the plan will also seek to reduce duplication of transit services and improve the overall coordinated transportation system in Washoe County.
