Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Dover, MA is seeking to engage a consultant to assist the Town Administrator and Acting Finance Director for training and support of the Town’s Treasurer/Collector’s Office. These consulting services should be provided in the following manner: Direct on-site services, to enable the consultant to directly assist the staff of the Treasurer/Collector offices and work with the Town Administrator, Acting Finance Director and other key department staff on financial/cashbook/reconciliation matters; and Remote services to allow the consultant to respond to emails and critical matters in a timely manner. Staffing: The selected consultant will, under the direction of the Town Administrator and Acting Finance Director, assist in training of staff and assisting the new Treasurer/Collector in fulfilling his duties. The office is staffed by: full time treasurer/collector, assistant treasurer/collector and collections assistant.
