Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR) is seeking a vendor to assist in its South Kohala Priority Watershed Coordination (SKPWC) project. This project will lead the SKCP to ensure implementation of the updated CAP by guiding partner strategies, establishing and enhancing partner commitments, promoting successes, sharing and pursuing funding opportunities, and working closely with newly engaged partners to build support for actions identified in the CAP. The Coordinator will also maintain and strengthen engagement of researchers, managers, and other stakeholders in the region, and effectively communicate priorities between on-the-ground and in-the-water implementers: DAR, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). 1. Coordinate the SKCP, maintaining and strengthening partner engagement and commitment through effective communication, broad stakeholder engagement, and planning efforts to target priority strategies. 2. Maintain effective communication within the partnership by soliciting and sharing partner updates, tracking projects, and disseminating relevant opportunities through established email lists and meetings. 4. Support ongoing research, monitoring, and restoration aimed at assessing and decreasing Land Based Sources of Pollution (LBSP) by providing technical assistance to project teams, seeking funding, and facilitating collaboration. 5. Participate in long-term monitoring of coral reef resources to support and track management efforts and support trained community members to do the same. 6. Establish communication early between overlapping and aligning management, science, and educational interests to ensure efficiency and improve the effectiveness of work proposed. 7. Check-in with project managers on milestones, identify potential issues, track project progress and update partners regularly on changing dynamics, serve as a liaison between NOAA and DAR.
