Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Davenport is currently accepting proposals from qualified vendors to inspect, service, and perform preventive maintenance on generating equipment located in various City-owned properties. This service contract is anticipated to be for three years starting with the date of contract award. Firms shall submit pricing for each of the three years as part of their proposal submission utilizing the document "Generator Listing" as a reference. Annual increases should be keyed to changes in the hourly mechanic scale and the Producers Price Index for generators. Contract will be paid out annually. Vendor shall be required to provide maintenance coverage to ensure proper operation of backup power generators as specified. Proposals shall be per site for a contract price to provide specified services. 2. Vendor shall be required to provide maintenance coverage to ensure safe generator operation and preserve equipment life, including: examinations, cleaning, lubrication, adjusting, parts replacement, repairs and testing on all parts including, but not limited to: motors, motor generator, fluid, dampeners, mufflers, gaskets, controllers, transformers, resistors, starters, all related control hardware, over speed governors. 3. Vendor shall provide annual full service with oil sampling testing, semi-annual inspection, and a one-time evaluation of all generators for recommended replacement/overhaul at time of first annual inspection/service.
