Specifications include, but are not limited to: The water treatment, wastewater treatment, and collections system that serve the City of Sandpoint, Idaho. The water treatment system includes two treatment plants, two reservoirs, and a booster station. The wastewater treatment system includes one wastewater treatment plant. The collections system includes nineteen lift stations dispersed throughout the City of Sandpoint. The following sections provide a brief description of each system and system upgrades. 1. Wastewater Treatment System The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is older and in need of replacement. A replacement is planned to occur within the next 3 to 5 years. The existing control system contains 7 PLCs with HMIs that are interconnected with fiber. The system also utilizes an alarm dialer. The HMI software used in the primary workstation is Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley Factory Talk View SE. Most of the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and touch screen HMIs in the facility are also Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley. A new Windows workstation will be provided by the city. The workstation shall be configured and licensed to act as a FactoryTalk View SE client to the Lake Water Treatment Plant Server utilizing access controls to only access the Wastewater Treatment Plant screens.
