Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MilTech department at Montana State University is a US government, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Office of Technology Transition Partnership Intermediary and provides hands-on product design, prototyping, technology scouting, and manufacturing assistance to the US government and non-traditional defense suppliers and small companies in order to transition innovative technology to the US government rapidly, reliably, and cost-effectively. Montana State University (hereinafter referred to as “the University”) is seeking vendors with experience in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, and Ground Vehicle Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support project deliverables across MilTech teams. Interested vendors must have the capability and necessary knowledge and experience (minimum 5 years) relating to marine engineering, naval architecture, and ground vehicle design, engineering, and manufacturing, and/or project-related software design, development, and prototyping to support efforts under the direction of MSU – MilTech staff. Vendors may respond to one or both of the Service Categories in this RFP: Category A: Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture, Design, and Manufacturing Category B: Ground Vehicle Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing
