Specifications include, but are not limited to: Neon Park: Two existing 18" pipes near the entrance to E Potter Road will be replaced to ensure proper drainage of the access road. "18" Dia. HDPE Pipe- Standard" and "Concrete Headwall- Pipes <= 36" Dia." are included for the installation of these pipe. In order to properly address the issues at this project site, E Potter Road will be cleared of material and restored to a usable condition before wall excavation and construction can begin. "Dense Grade Aggregate," "Roadway Stone," and "Bituminous Repair" is included for this road work. These items will also allow for "in kind" restoration of any roads damaged by construction efforts. "Traffic Control" is included for any items needed to provide traffic control during work on or near any road affected by construction work. Additionally, access to the lower gabion wall will require the Contractor to move through the Fleming-Neon City Park. Any existing park equipment that is deemed salvageable by the ENGINEER will be relocated during construction and returned once access is no longer needed. "Structure Removal/Replacement" is included to account for this. Another 18" pipe with headwalls is included to remove drainage from behind one of the concrete walls, and a concrete dropbox is needed to direct drainage from behind the wall into the pipe. Several areas of W8x40 steel piles will be installed to shore up the gabion walls and one residence as shown in the plans. "Soil Drilling (15" Diameter)," "Rock Drilling (15" Drilling)," and "Concrete- Non-formed & Non-finished" are included for these. "Site Preparation" and "Site Preparation-Waste Areas" are included for various activities needed to prepare the project area and waste area for use. All disturbed area will be revegetated using the "Residential Seeding" bid item. Also, "Silt Barrier- Bales & Fence" will be included to provide erosion control for the project. Any utilities that must be relocated/replaced will be done under the corresponding bid item, and any landscaping that is damaged during construction will be covered by the "Landscape Allowance" bid item.
