Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of the installation of solar system on the roof of the Town Garage (currently under construction), the installation of associated equipment, and the connection of the solar facility to the electricity distribution grid. The Town will use all electricity generated from the facility for the Town Garage and other town-owned buildings. More specifically, the project includes the following tasks: Complete any necessary permitting for the installation of a roof-mounted solar system (as further described below) on the roof of the Town Garage at 3630 Ethan Allen Highway (currently under construction) Install solar system with collectors mounted on the roof of the Town Garage to produce the maximum possible AC power Connect solar collectors and inverter(s) to the 208 VAC electrical distribution system.
