Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will include all materials, equipment, labor, and travel to replace the two (2) existing Weil McLain Series 1 888 Steam Boilers with two (2) new Weil McLain Series 2 888 Boilers located at Building 10 at the Wildwood Correctional Center, 10 Chugach Avenue, Kenai, Alaska 99611. All steam heating specialties expect as noted, such as gate valves, control valves, flanges, pressure gauges, temperature wells and fittings that are in usable conditions are to remain. Contractor to provide alternate proposal for replacing any items as deemed necessary. Steam Piping, Fittings and Domestic Water insulation in the mechanical room and utilidors may have Asbestos Containing materials. Any cost for abatement measures that are required for the safety and protection of contractor employees should be noted as a separate line item in the contractor’s proposal.
