Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Kentucky (University) is soliciting proposals in response to this Request for Proposal from qualified vendors to provide on-demand ride sharing services that will be fully operational by August 17, 2023. University of Kentucky Transportation Services (UKTS) desires to offer flat-rate discounted latenight on-demand transportation program (Program) to provide University students (Students) with a safe, affordable, and convenient late-night transportation option. The successful offeror must be a reliable and reputable industry leading real-time demandresponse rideshare provider with a successful history of providing similar service to other large urban universities. The rideshare program must provide a smartphone-based application which provides a simple user interface allowing riders to easily hail a ride, efficiently dispatches drivers, and provides timely rides during the established program service hours and between destinations within a predefined geographic boundary and at a flat-rate discounted fee, to be paid by the University.
