Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide expedited appointments with a psychiatric prescriber for a Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) member determined to have an urgent need for psychiatric assessment and/or medications. Only providers who are currently paneled by Trillium and PacificSource for Medicaid psychiatric prescribing services will be eligible to contract for Fast Pass/Rapid Access services. Fast Track/Rapid Access referrals bypass the standard intake process to allow rapid access to a prescriber. The provider agency will allocate at least one appointment each week for FastPass/Rapid Access services which will allow a referred client rapid access to a psychiatric prescriber. If office protocol does not allow for an initial appointment with a psychiatric prescriber, a screening assessment, and treatment plan will be completed at the first appointment and the client will have access to a psychiatric prescriber within 7 business days of the initial Fast Track appointment. The LMP will confirm the diagnosis and stabilize the member on their medications. In most instances, after brief stabilization, the member may be returned to their primary care provider for ongoing care with appropriate care coordination.
