Specifications include, but are not limited to: • ISA CA consulting on UM campus. • ISA CA developing a University tree policy • Minimum two trained climbers, climber A and climber B, to prune, trim, thin, reduce crown, dead wooding trees. • A minimum of one ground person to spot and clean up limbs. • Minimum one chipper, minimum chipping capacity size 18” diameter limbs, trunks. • One covered truck to discharge chips into and haul within 5-mile radius of campus. • Filling cavity of trees. • Stump grinding stumps, pick up debris, and haul within 5 miles radius of campus. • Cabling trees. Climbers must be able to work in tall trees on campus. No bucket truck(s) allowed in this bid. Climbing spurs shall not be used when climbing trees, except to climb a tree to be removed or to perform an aerial rescue of an injured worker. Equipment and work practices that damage bark or cambium should be avoided, as well as rope injury from loading out heavy limbs.
