Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work consists of construction to convert the existing extended aeration wastewater treatment facility to a membrane bioreactor treatment process. Improvements include the addition of new screening, rehabilitation of the existing flow equalization and biosolids storage basins, demolition and reconstruction of the existing mechanical and control Buildings "A" and "B", and repurposing the existing treatment basins for a Kubota flat plate flexible membrane treatment system. An alternative bid is also requested in the proposal and the technical specifications to use Ovivo silicon carbide flat plate membrane technology. The alternative bid will be evaluated with consideration of the design modifications required. The project also includes reconstruction of five Pump Stations. Stations A, B, C, and D will be converted to duplex submersible stations and Station E will be abandoned and served with a new gravity pipeline. New power supply conduits to Pump Station C, and the new 8" gravity sewer line replacing Pump Station E will be installed by horizontal directional drilling.
