Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Oregon, on behalf of the Office of Human Resources (University), is issuing this RFP for the procurement of a consultant to assist with conduct a study of faculty salaries to determine whether salary inequities related to race, ethnicity or gender exist within University's career instructional faculty; Overall goals of the study include the following: 1) Analyze salaries of career instructional faculty to determine if racial, ethnic or gender inequities exist that cannot be explained by legitimate, nondiscriminatory reasons. 2) Analyze how base salaries and, if feasible, retention offers, and other financial incentives, could be taken into account to identify inequities. 3) Prepare findings of the study in a written report. Expected deliverables are listed in “Scope of Services” below. There are approximately 410 career instructional faculty, excluding those in EC Cares and the School of Law, who are those with appointments in the Career classification in the following categories: Instructor, Lecturer, Librarian, Clinical Professor (when an instructional appointment), Professor of Practice, and Teaching Professor.
