Specifications include, but are not limited to: To establish a Statewide Price Agreement for the Collection and Processing of Recyclables. Most State agencies currently participating in office paper recycling use 32, 68, or 95 gallon wheeled bins and carts provided by the contractor. Current data reflects in Santa Fe there are approximately thirty-five total receptacles being pulled biweekly, ranging from 19gallon round bins to one (1) 10 ft. x 10 ft. cage structure used for cardboard. Approximately six currently active locations save recyclabcardboard boxes and fairly high volumes of paper. In Albuquerque, there is currently one 68 gallon bin being pulled monthly. The desired collection system will include 50 and 90 gallon rolling carts provided by contractor(s) for building collection of office papegrades. This will be a continuation of the 50 gallon cart system provided by a previous contractor in several buildings. In order to facilitate and expand the recovered quantities and range of additional materials, such as corrugated cardboard, bidders may propose alternative collection methods and plans in cases where carts might not be practicable.
