Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to purchase Goods as listed in this ITB for the Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC). Goods indicated in this ITB are to be delivered to the ODOC’s Central Distribution Center (CDC), 3601 State Street, Salem OR 97301. 4.11.1 Only “natural or pasteurized process cheese” will be accepted and shall comply with all applicable Federal regulations including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s regulations contained in 21 CFR Part 133. 4.11.2 Goods must melt at a minimum heat of 150 degrees Fahrenheit. 4.11.3 Good(s) must be gluten-free; good(s) containing wheat-based ingredients will not be accepted 4.11.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: CHEESE, SLICED, LOW SODIUM 4.11.1 Goods MUST be minimum of 14 grams not to exceed 18 grams per slice slices can be individually wrapped or not. 4.11.2 Goods MUST contain a minimum of 2 grams of protein per 14 gram serving. 4.11.3 ODOC will accept only American, Swiss, or cheddar. 4.11.4 Sodium content not to exceed 130 mg per slice. 4.11 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: CHEESE, SHREDDED BLENDED 4.11.1 Goods types must be uniformly blended, relatively free flowing and free from beads of moisture or slime. 4.11.2 Imitation, reduced fat or fat free Goods will NOT be accepted. 4.11.3 Goods MUST be shredded. 4.11.4 ODOC will accept any flavor cheese (American, Swiss, Jack, mozzarella, etc).
